Bayern Munich tops the Bundesliga despite a slow start to their season. They were not slow to get going in the Champions League group stage though not dropping a single point in taking first place. On their way to the six wins, they managed to score 21 goals. Should Chelsea be in any doubt as to the strength of a Bayern side playing well, they need only ask London-rivals Tottenham Hotspurs.

Chelsea ended their run of four matches without a win in the Premier League on Saturday. The aforementioned Spurs left Stamford Bridge empty-handed in a timely win for Frank Lampard’s men. Chelsea proved too good for Tottenham as they gained a big confidence boost ahead of this clash with Bayern Munich. We still feel that Bayern have what it takes to claim a vital win at the Bridge. Their defence can act a bit dubious at times though and both sides to score also looks a good way to go.
